Eating an animal-based diet doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s all about using high-quality, nutrient-rich ingredients that fuel your body and taste amazing. We are not perfect but we always try to eat whole nutritious meats and fruits. Here’s what an ideal day of eating looks like for me and my boyfriend:
Breakfast:
I start my day with a glass of Debloat from Promix to support digestion. Then it’s time for my favorite part of the day—coffee. I make it with my homemade lavender honey and organic half-and-half, which gives it a smooth and floral sweetness. My favorite coffee is from my Nespresso machine, we love the ice-leggero pods. Along with my coffee, I have two eggs with a drizzle of sriracha for some heat.
Lunch:
Lunch is straightforward but packed with flavor and nutrition. My boyfriend usually cooks up a grass-fed ribeye steak, which gives me all the protein and healthy fats I need. On the side, we blend up a blueberry and raw milk smoothie. It’s refreshing, naturally sweet, and pairs perfectly with the rich, juicy steak.
Dinner:
For dinner, I keep it light and fresh. I grill some chicken and serve it with homemade honey mustard—super simple but so satisfying. We just mix equal parts of organic mustard and avocado oil mayonnaise and a little less local honey to make the honey mustard. Along with the grilled chicken, we’ll have an açaí bowl using raw milk, kefir, frozen organic açaí, and bananas. I top it off with organic strawberries, organic blueberries, local honey, cinnamon, and a sprinkle of granola, purely elizabeth has been our favorite brand recently! It’s a delicious and nutritious way to end the day.
Eating an animal-based diet has been a simple and satisfying way for us to stay healthy and energized. I love how straightforward the meals are, and I always feel full and it’s all delicious!
