Growing up I have always had the most sensitive skin and I’ve developed a number of different skin infections and conditions. I’ve had ringworm, and several different types of staph infections and the one that has continually come back is my eczema. I’ve been on the hunt for the best natural eczema remedy for years now!

I get eczema everywhere, my legs, arms, hands, and neck are usually the target areas. My most recent, and probably worst outbreak was on both of my shins. I had around 5 to 10 spots on each shin that varied in size and were soo itchy, dry, flaky, and embarrassing to look at.

Eczema Triggers

My eczema can be triggered by a few different things: stress levels, diet, the weather, and my immune system being low is usually when I start to notice spots. The big shin breakout was caused by stress, I had a few different stressful situations happening in my work and personal life as it started to break out on my shins. This breakout lasted 6 to 7 months of trying different creams and methods to clear it up. More often than not my eczema would clear up in a few weeks by itself but that was the worst I’ve ever experienced, it just wouldn’t go away. It started in August and didn’t really start clearing up till a couple of months into the new year. My eczema is always worse throughout the winter, in the cold, drier weather too.

I tried a long list of over-the-counter creams, including Eucerin, Cortizone, Baby Sensitive Aveeno Eczema Cream, Aquafor, The Ocean Healed My Eczema Cream, and more. Nothing was working as a long-term solution, I even tried the prescription Triamcinolone but it didn’t work as a long-term solution for me either. Not only were these things not working, but some of them had a long list of unhealthy ingredients that I didn’t want to apply to my skin every day. Our skin absorbs these ingredients and lives in our body, and could potentially cause health problems down the road so finding a natural eczema remedy was important to me.

The Best Natural Eczema Remedy

Instead of using lotions or creams for my daily skincare I really like using different oils like coconut or rosehip oil. I get more into that in my skincare post! My mom is always looking for new and different things to help any ailment I have so she was on the search for a natural eczema remedy too, she found an oil mix she had seen on TikTok that was helping heal other people’s eczema. It’s called Lalena’s Oil made by The Wooden Gypsy and it all started because she thought she could make an oil to get her son off of the eczema creams!

She creates every order in small batches to ensure her customers get the purest and freshest products. The Lalena’s Oil is all natural, organic, cold-pressed Rosehip, Black Seed and Castor Oil. It can be used for a long list of things including healing eczema, growing hair, treating poison ivy and way more. I noticed more of a difference in my eczema in just a few days after I started using it than in the past 6 months of trying different creams. My shins were completely healed within a few weeks! If I notice an eczema place pop up I start spot treating it immediately with my Lalena’s and it’s gone within a few days. I’ve been dealing with my eczema for as long as I can remember and nothing has worked so well and it’s made with all natural and organic ingredients so I feel good about using it!

It Has Multiple Uses

I started using the Lalena’s on my eyelashes to help them grow and on my cheeks to help with my acne scarring. I don’t use it every night like I used to when I was trying to heal my eczema because it is kind of expensive but I can already tell a difference!

Check out her website, she makes other products too that I can’t wait to try. If you are going to order Lalena’s Oil to try out make sure you order it directly from her website, she only sells from there, if you find it on Amazon or anywhere else it’s not the real Lalena’s! It takes a few weeks to ship and it is pricey but it is well worth it.

Everyone’s skin is different and what might work for me won’t work for you and vice-versa. I’d love to hear about any natural products you’ve tried that have helped you leave it in the comments below!
